Electric and pneumatic drivers play their own uses in our work. They are essential assembly tools in modern industrial production, which can improve the working efficiency and product quality of the factory and bring great help to our work. Of course, every good thing has some small shortcomings, just as there is no such thing as no defect. Electric driver and pneumatic driver are the same, both have their own advantages and disadvantages, we can from the following aspects of horizontal comparison:
1. Rotational speed:
The speed of the electric driver is generally about 1000-2000r/min, because the motor will generate electric sparks in operation, so the driver is easy to burn for a long time and high frequency operation. And the speed of the pneumatic driver is generally 1000-2800r/min or so, because the motor is driven by high pressure gas, so long time high frequency operation will not be hot.
2. Appearance:
The shell of the electric driver is mostly made of plastic material, which is ergonomic and light in weight and suitable for long time operation. The shell of the pneumatic driver is mostly made of metal, which feels slightly worse than the electric one, but the metal shell has better anti-static performance.
3. Energy Consumption:
The energy consumption of the electric driver is 55W/H. The pneumatic driver uses compressed gas actuation source as long as the air line part is reasonable, the gas consumption of each driver is about 0.28㎡/min, relatively more energy saving and environmental protection.
4. Torque accuracy:
The electric driver uses electronic braking so the accuracy is higher, the general repetition accuracy is less than 3%. The pneumatic driver uses mechanical braking, and the change of air source pressure will affect the torque stability of the driver, so the greater the general repetition accuracy is about 5%-3%. (If you add an air conditioner, it will be better).
5. Maintenance cost:
Power tools in 3 months to 6 months to replace the carbon brush, and electric consumables, power lines, carbon brush, bearings, etc., the future maintenance into a higher. And the pneumatic driver less consumables, as long as the usual attention to maintenance and refueling, generally within a year only need to change the blade.
To sum up, the advantages of the electric driver are mainly convenient, high torque stability and cheap price; Disadvantages, high failure rate, easy to hot. The advantages of the pneumatic driver are fast working speed, anti-static, low failure rate, long life, energy saving and environmental protection; Shortcomings, feel is not good, torque accuracy to refer to the stability of air pressure, a high price. In general, the pneumatic driver is better than the electric driver, but at present, there are more brand merchants on the market, and the fake brand is also common.
